Feathers and Fur

Feathers and Fur group talks take on many styles from the formal talks to the outrageous and loud Scouts and Beaver sessions. We offer tailored talks that aim to fulfil your individual needs whether its working towards badges in the Brownies and Scouts or just something completely out of the ordinary for a social club night.

We actively encourage a full hands on experience during the talks, flying the birds of prey across the rooms to individuals or creating teams for ferret racing, there definitely a talk to talk about!

“On behalf of Henley 1st Beaver Scouts I would like to thank you for an excellent evening introducing our young scouts to your birds of prey. To have been able to hold the event in the Scout hut was a real privilege. The children truly appreciated being so close to the birds, able to stroke them and stare into their eyes. We all learnt a great deal about the birds, and no one (Scout Leaders included) will forget the experience of the birds landing on an outstretched hand (and a couple of shoulders).

I know it was a success because my seven year old son, who is in Beavers and rather judgemental of the Leader’s efforts each week (ie his Dad), declared on the way home that this was “the best Beavers yet“.
