Feathers and Fur

Feathers and Fur is a small collection of stunning Hawks, Falcons and Owls used to allow people the opportunity to experience falconry and the unique and wonderful bond between man and bird.

Based at Ladd’s Garden Village, Nr Reading, Berkshire, Feathers and Fur offers a variety of handling opportunities from Hands on Experience Bird of Prey Sessions and Hawk Walks to the more unusual experiences such as birthday parties or a Barn Owl as your wedding Guest! Our expert Falconers are on hand to make your experience memorable and informative.

Feathers and Fur aims to enable you the opportunity to get up close to Birds of Prey you may see on a daily basis such as the Red Kite and the Kestrel. Allowing one to appreciate the detail and unique skills of each species and as a result sharing the knowledge and understanding of how each of our British Birds of Prey fits into our modern world and how we can help to protect their habitats and environment.

Our Team have flown birds and given talks for a wide variety of events and occasions including, Birthday Parties, School Talks, Colleges, Universities, Senior Social Clubs, Stag / Hen Parties, Corporate events, One to One Photography Sessions, Art Classes, Falconry Lessons, Prisons, After schools clubs, Scouts, Weddings, Village Fairs, Charity Events and County Shows.

Thank you very much for looking after Alison and myself on my birthday Hawk Walk on 15 November. Your expertise, knowledge and passion were a joy to share and the walk was over all too quickly, despite the extras bonus. Thank you also for arranging such beautiful weather for us, highlighted by the incredible blue skies in the photos! It was a wonderful memory that I will treasure forever. Our friends that we met in the Masons Arms afterwards were suitably impressed and asked so many questions, which I was of course able to expertly answer! Once again thanks for the memory and for sharing part of your life with us. We hope that your venture continues to thrive and that we may meet you again soon.
